It’s been four weeks of intense rehearsals. And now it’s time to welcome you to the world of Thamesmead.
“The Sad and Cautionary Tale of SmackHeaded Peter” opens this Friday 6th August in the Mainspace at Theatre Passe Muraille. There are only six performances (it’s the same for all of the shows in the SummerWorks Festival) – if you’re in Toronto over the next two weeks I urge you to check out this fabulous dark British comedy about the role of heroin on a London council estate.
I strongly urge you to buy your tickets in advance online as we are doing a big promotional push for the show – I would hate for you to miss out! It’s only $10. Here are the show dates and times:
- Friday 6th August at 10.30pm
- Sunday 8th August at 3pm
- Tuesday 10th August at 5.30pm
- Thursday 12th August at 8pm
- Saturday 14th August at 5.30pm
- Sunday 15th August at 10pm
I play a clairvoyant who gets her messages through old black and white tellys. It’s a lot of fun (despite the subject matter) and you’d be crazy to miss this short run. Hope to see you at one of the shows!
