Lots going on this week!
I have five performances of SmackHeaded Peter and a variety show of epic proportions…
SmackHeaded Peter opened with a bang on Friday night – we had a great house and were very pleased with how well the world premiere of the play was received. There are still five chances to catch this marvellously dark and funny tale of a heroin messiah from a grim housing project in London, England:
- Sunday 8th August at 3pm
- Tuesday 10th August at 5.30pm
- Thursday 12th August at 8pm
- Saturday 14th August at 5.30pm
- Sunday 15th August at 10pm
Tickets are only $10 and are available here and the venue is the Theatre Passe Muraille Mainspace on Ryerson just north of Queen St.
On Tuesday after the SmackHeaded Peter performance I will be strolling up to Kensington Market to do a fabulous variety show which will be donating a portion of the proceeds of the $5 entrance fee to the Pat McFarlane Cancer Research Foundation. Glam! stars my good friend Martha O’Neill with a special guest appearance by Debra DiGiovanni.
