When I went back to England a few weeks ago I discovered a fabulous new comedy series – Mock the Week.
A topical, improvised news show with stand-up comedians and impressionists, Mock the Week is one of the things that makes me wish I still had access to British television.
Some of you may know that I do a joke about GPS units (or Sat Navs) in cars (click here to see it – it’s in the Absolute Comedy set and comes right after my charity muggers joke) that actually helped me come third last year in the Toronto Comedy Brawl. My friend Laura happened to see this episode of Mock the Week where one of the competition rounds is for the comedians to come up with Things You Won’t Hear Your Sat Nav Say. These are the results:
