Blimey! All this website building for an actor friend of mine has really inspired me to add more material to the resume section of my website. I’ve been and gone and built another two pages!
I was lucky enough to go to drama school at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School where I did the two-year post-graduate course in acting.
I had some great roles but I think possibly my favourite was Camille in Red Noses.
You really need to check out the costume I got to wear – my boyfriend at the time found it pretty distracting as did some of the other cast members.
Let’s just say I wasn’t playing a nun. Here’s the link to the Red Noses page.
My first tv job in the UK was for the fourth season of the hit ITV show Soldier, Soldier which I landed not long after I’d graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
It was a great part – a hopeless but well-meaning soldier’s wife who’s trying very hard to learn how to parachute for a charity jump at the army base.
It was a great first experience of working in television. Unfortunately the costume wasn’t quite as hot as the one for Red Noses. You can read all about it on the Soldier, Soldier page of the website.
