Toronto Noir” opens this Thursday as part of the SummerWorks Festival!

Tomorrow night we are holding a fundraiser at Betty’s which will include music from Murray Foster and his bass (Murray plays “Plunk Henry” in the show), musical numbers from our director Heather Davies (Heather used to be a musical theatre actress and has a voice to die for), stand-up from yours truly, booze, a raffle and much more!

Then on Thursday “Toronto Noir” has its debut at the Theatre Centre, 100-1087 Queen West (south east corner of Queen and Dovercourt). Here is a list of the shows:

  • Thursday 6th August @ 6pm
  • Saturday 8th August @ 2pm
  • Sunday 9th August @ 8pm
  • Tuesday 11th August @ 4pm
  • Thursday 13th August @ 4pm
  • Saturday 15th August @ 12pm

This is a very limited run of a really excellent adaptation of three short stories from the award-winning collection “Toronto Noir“. The show runs less than an hour and has an incredibly talented cast. Both extremely dark and very funny, it’s one of the most interesting and entertaining pieces I’ve ever worked on. Please buy tickets and come and see it!
