I have scary clown hair

So here it is – me with my great new hair. And eyebrows. I have ginger eyebrows. And a very scabby scalp, owing to the fact that I had three or four loads of gloop plopped on my bonce. My husband finds it strangely alluring, but he didn’t see it today – very dry and frizzy. Etheline the hair lady on the movie is going to be delighted – she wanted it super-frizzy and gross.
God, I love my job – seriously! Getting paid to dress up and pretend to be other people? It’s a dreamy treat.
We had the read-through on Friday – so many good actors and the script is an actor’s dream. Great lines for everyone, especially the actors playing the recovering addicts. I feel very, very blessed.
I’m hoping I can post pictures of me in costume – I look scary. Good scary. I start filming in a couple of days – I can’t wait. I’ve waited a long time for a chance like this and as Ali, one of the other British actors in the film told me on Friday, “I’m chuffed!”
